Throwing a spear give Odin's protection...... Meh... Now I remember where I saw Gungnir (FFV), outside of FFIV as Kain's weapon after the Giant of Bab-ii stage...
Nevertheless, what's the difference between the 'spawns' by the original Draupnir and the duplicates? Are some of them different, or lacking in a certain aspect...?

I remember a ring called the Dragon's Ring. It would supposedly split you into 9 copies but the point is that each piece would be a personality trait. Like one piece would be completely aggressive and stuff............

No the point of said splintering is a lesson. When you are divided you are not at full strentgh. So while there is indeed strength in numbers the pieces were useless without each other. So it was a fairly useless weapon...............

True, I can see how that works... Then it just takes one huge guy to pick the nine off.

Exactly. Like How can you win without using Brains and Brawn? Even the dumbest fighter in the world uses strategy. Though it be poor startegy.........

Like:
"Doif... The rock will hurt me, I think I will move into it."
But seriously, if you just brutally kill things, eventually, you won't realize someone's shooting that poisoned arrow at you and then... WHAM! You drop dead on the ground.

The only thing that was different is that the duplicates of the ring could not create duplicates.

Oh... Other than that, they all merited the same power and remained endowed with equivalent properties?
